For the first time since 2006, Bergström Wines announces the release of its Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from the much heralded 2008 vintage. This special and extremely limited bottling is a unique blend of estate fruit and fruit from the Shea Vineyard and is the perfect wine for everyday drinking. With a dark ruby color, the 2008 Willamette Valley has enticing aromatics of dark red cherries and raspberries with toasty oak notes and a plethora of sweet baking spices like clove and cinnamon and vanilla. The wine is a medium bodied Pinot Noir with generous texture and copious amounts of sweet red fruits, earth and spice notes on the palate. Drink this wine now through 2012.
