Due to some extreme temperatures across the country, we strongly advise all shipping orders to go Fedex 2nd day air to avoid damage to your order. If you choose not to ship 2nd day, we will ship during weather permitting times. This could mean that your shipment will be postponed for a month or longer until temperatures warm back up. Our very first Gewurztraminer comes from the Hyland Vineyard in the McMinnville AVA. It is made in a dry style and only 4 barrels of this special wine were crafted. This wine has amazingly spicy and complex aromas of verbena, roses, savory herbs and fruit as well as a great mineral vein running through it.
Gewurztraminer is big and rich in the mouth with a great unctuous mouth-feel and this wine is no exception. This is a very big white wine but maintains a good balance and will pair very well with a wide variety of dishes.
Drink now through 2012.
