Due to some extreme temperatures across the country, we strongly advise all shipping orders to go Fedex 2nd day air to avoid damage to your order. If you choose not to ship 2nd day, we will ship during weather permitting times. This could mean that your shipment will be postponed for a month or longer until temperatures warm back up. Please include any special instructions for your order under the “Additional Comments” section of the checkout page.

The de Lancellotti Vineyard, our second of three estate vineyards, is a seven acre Pinot Noir vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains Appellation of Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley. This North to South facing dome-shaped hillside has been Demeter-certified Biodynamic since 2004. The sandy soils sit on a bedrock of sandstone and drain quickly in early spring, saving little to no water for the vines which have to dive their roots down several feet before finding any traces of water in the summertime. This stress creates wines of great structure with dark fruited profiles and a highly aromatic profile of sweet spices such as cinnamon, clove, anise and pepper.

This is the darkest wine we have crafted from this vineyard, offering up an intense aromatic display. A myriad of fruits and spices including anise, pepper and incense with hints of peppermint, dark cherry, cassis and marionberry come to mind. This wine is poignant and juicy with a great natural acidity.

Drink from 2007-2017. This wine is certified Biodynamic and available through our Tasting room, website and the National market in very limited quantities.
